One can say that the Church of St. Rok dating back to the 16th century is the main symbol and the heart of Bibinje. It is situated in the southern part of the peninsula, next to the onetime town walls. The tradition about the old Bibinje people having erected a church for St. Rok as a sign of gratitude
for having saved them from the plague is still cherished. An interesting feature: the layout of the tribe's graves in the Church of St. Rok (from "Bibinjski korijeni", I. Sindija). |

At the foot of the Sasavac hill, a new, big cemetery has been built. In 1995, the All Saints Church was built there and a bell was put up with the following text: "All God's saints pray for us!" and "A present from the religious people of Bibinje". In the apse of the church there is a stone altar with a cross shaped like Croatian wickerwork placed on the front side. |
In the beginning of the 15th century, about 90 inhabitants had their homes on the Bibinje peninsula. They erected a simple church in the middle of the peninsula and around it they had their cemetery. In 1995 the Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist was completely restored and today, it presents us with its sacral collection.

After two attempts, in 1940 and in 1966, the St. Mary's Assumption Church was finally built 1985. As early as 1988 the people from Bibinje bought 5 bells for the new church. The biggest bell is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the second biggest to St. Rok, the third one to St. Peter, the fourth one to St. John the Baptist and the fifth one to St. Leopold Mandić. |

The small Church of John the Baptist's Martyrdom in Punta is a one-nave Romanesque church with a semicircular apse. It was built by the Benedictines from the Biograd Rogovska abbey in the 12th century, and the people from Bibinje restored it in 1990. |
